Two people airlifted after quad bike accidentRescue helicopter at Coonamble airport

Two people are being treated at John Hunter Hospital for serious but non-life threatening injuries after a quad bike accident last week.

At about 1pm on Monday 12 February, two Westpac Rescue Helicopters were tasked by NSW Ambulance to respond to an accident involving multiple patients on a property at Coonamble.

A man in his 30s and a young boy were treated by paramedics on scene and then transported to Coonamble Airport to meet the helicopter’s critical care medical teams.

Both patients were further treated and stabilised by the medical teams before being airlifted to John Hunter Hospital.
