Three men escaped serious injury near Armatree after a utility rolled upside down off the Castlereagh Highway yesterday.

Police said they understand the Toyota Hilux rolled "multiple" times before landing in a table drain at around 1:45pm on Wednesday 5 November.

They said a lost tyre may have caused the crash, where NSW Ambulance said the nearest cross street was Armatree Road.

The men, in their 20s and 30s, returned a negative breath test.

The highway was fully re-opened by 3:20pm

The Hilux was towing a box trailer with motorbikes when it rolled.

Firefighters also attended the scene.
