Walgett drive-through testing site moves
From Saturday 14 August onward, Western NSW Local Health District’s drive-through testing site at Walgett has moved to Walgett Swimming Pool’s car park, on Montkeila Street.
The testing site at Walgett Swimming Pool’s car park will be open from 9am to 4pm from Saturday through to Tuesday 17 August. It has moved from Alex Trevallion Park.
Testing is also available at Walgett Multi-Purpose Service from 9am to 12pm on Saturday and Sunday, the community is asked to phone ahead on 6817 9400 if they are a close contact or symptomatic.
We encourage everyone in the community to come forward for testing and re-testing. Widespread, sustained testing is crucial to ensuring we keep our communities safe.
Symptoms associated with COVID-19 include fever, cough, breathing difficulties, sore throat, loss of smell or taste, runny nose, diarrhoea, nausea, vomiting and fatigue.
