Walgett Shire have updated their road conditions advice as of 4.45pm today Friday 18 November.

All motorists are advised to proceed with caution on all shire roads, and to please check road conditions before travelling.

ALL UNSEALED ROADS ARE CLOSED.

Please note the following roads are CLOSED due to flooding until further notice:

·         Castlereagh Highway (SH18S Walgett - Coonamble) – OPEN TO HIGH CLEARANCE VEHICLES ONLY

·         Kamilaroi Highway (SH29E Walgett – Cryon) CLOSED FROM WALGETT TO CRYON, OPEN FROM CRYON TO BURREN JUNCTION HIGH CLEARANCE VEHICLES ONLY

·         Kamilaroi Highway (SH29W Walgett – Brewarrina)

·         Gwydir Highway (SH12 Collarenebri – Moree) OPEN TO HIGH CLEARANCE VEHICLES ONLY SINGLE LANE RUNNING UNDER TRAFFIC CONTROL

·         Merrywinebone (RR329 Collarenebri – Burren Junction) OPEN TO LOCAL TRAFFIC HIGH CLEARANCE VEHICLES ONLY 

·         Gundabloui Road, (Collarenebri to Mungindi RR457)

·         Cumberdoon Way (Walgett - Carinda RR333)

·         Come by Chance Road (RR7716)

·         Carinda to Warren Road (RR333)

·         Bugilbone Road (SR103)
