Warrumbungle Council invites input into future direction

Residents of Warrumbungle Shire are being invited to contribute to the future economic and tourism strategy for the region.

Council has called for community input into the Economic Development and Tourism Strategy for 2025-2030 via an online survey.

“Community input is vital as we develop a strategy that truly reflects the needs and aspirations of our residents,” said Warrumbungle Shire Council’s Director Environment and Development Services, Leeanne Ryan.

“By gathering feedback through this survey, we aim to craft a plan that supports growth, sustainability, and enhanced tourism within the Shire.”

The survey will be open until Friday, 4 October 2024, at 5:00pm, and residents are encouraged to dedicate 5 to 10 minutes to share their perspectives.

“We urge everyone to participate and make their voices heard,” Ms Ryan added. “Your feedback is essential in guiding the Shire’s future development and ensuring our approach aligns with community priorities.”
