Sam Coe showing the form that got him into the Western RamsSam Coe from the Dunedoo Swans and Thomas Plater from the Cobar Roosters have forced their way into the Western Rams Senior Men’s team that will play in the NSWRL Country Championships.
The two players earnt their positions in the team after solid performances in a trial game when an extended Western squad played against the Northern Tigers prior to the NRL trial game between the South Sydney Rabbitohs and the Manly Sea Eagles at Glen Willow Stadium in Mudgee.
The two will wear the famous green and white Western guernsey in the opening round of the Country Championships on Saturday 14 March when the Rams will play the highly touted Central Coast Roosters at Bathurst’s Carrington Oval.
The duo will join Gulgong’s Chloe Patrick, Coolah’s Molly Burgess and the Dunedoo duo of Shelley Cox and Chelsea Gallagher who all have gained Western Rams selection in 2026.
