Westpac helicopter called to horse incident

A woman is being treated for head and spinal injuries after falling from a horse over the weekend. 


At about 5:30pm on Sunday 10 September, the Westpac Rescue Helicopter was called to Baradine, where a woman in her 40s was injured after falling from a horse. 


The woman was treated at the scene, before being airlifted to the Tamworth Base Hospital.


She was treated for head and spinal injuries and remains in hospital. 


It is understood the woman is in a stable condition.
