Woman airlifted after Carinda crashRescue helicopter called to Carinda

The Westpac Rescue Helicopter was called to the Carinda area yesterday following a single vehicle accident.


NSW Ambulance called in the rescue team at around 11.30am on Saturday 20 January.


The woman in her 50s was trapped in the vehicle and was released by emergency services before being treated on site by paramedics.


She was taken to Walgett Airport and treated by the helicopter's critical care medical team before being airlifted to Tamworth Hospital.
