David Bowie Festival

After 3 years we are so excited to finally be able to put on our red shoes and dance the blues away!!

Our festival celebrates the unique event when British musician David Bowie came to our small rural community in 1983 to record his hit single Let's Dance music video.

We will have various bands playing throughout the weekend with our headlining act Ashes to Ashes performing on the Saturday night and reenacting David Bowies iconic video clip at the Carinda Hotel on Sunday. Other performing acts include Tina Martini and Viper Creek Band and more.

The weekend will kick off on Friday night at the sporting grounds with a David Bowie themed trivia night (tickets sold separately on the night).

Saturday will be all a go at the sporting grounds with workshops, food vendors and market stalls, dog jumping and demonstrations along with live music from our amazing performers keeping you dancing throughout the day and night. A full bar and lots of yummy food will also be available throughout the festival!

 Looking for accommodation for the Let's Dance Carinda Festival?

Then look no further than our gorgeous fully catered for Glamping tents.

Take the stress out of your festival visit and book a luxurious bell tent pre-pitched for your convenience. Each tent features a queen mattress, bed linens, bedside tables and battery operated camping light. Our glamping tents are perfect for those people who are travelling and may not own their own camping equipment. It is also great if you don't want the hassle of setting up and just want to arrive and have everything ready. Tents are set up right next to the festival and close to showers and toilets, no need to use your vehicle for the whole weekend. 

Prices for the Let's Dance Carinda Festival glamping tents are for up to 3 nights accommodation, Friday, Saturday and Sunday night, the price does not change if you stay for a shorter time. Please be aware that tents are unpowered. Toilet and showers are available at the camping grounds.

Tickets gain you access to the Saturday festival only at the Carinda sporting grounds and free camping (a valid festival ticket must be visable on the dash your vehicle at all times during the weekend if you are camping). Sunday event at the Carinda Hotel is a free event and open to everybody.

PLEASE NOTE: If you hold valid tickets from 2022 that you accepted to rollover then you do not need to do anything your, 2022 ticket is valid and will be accepted at the gate. If your ticket/s were refunded then you must repurchase ticket for the 2023 festival.
