Pave the Way to Gular Street Art Festival

September 10th & 11th

Catch 10 new artworks live in action as we welcome artists from around the country to join local artists in revitalising Gulargambone’s walls and spaces with exciting public art.

Now in its fourth year, we welcome prolific artists such as Kasper, Juzpop, Zac Craig, VKM, Manda Lane, Frank Wright, Leo Uribe and Michael Bourke to work on walls and newly erected billboards along the Riverwalk. In addition, the murals will be amplified by small metal sculptures installed on the artworks framework.

Artists have designed provocative concepts referencing mental health, climate change, animal extinction and other environmental and political issues, promising a myriad of interesting and exciting live paintings and large-scale works.

As well as live painting, Saturday 10th is also the celebration of Dinner Under The Stars, 20 years on. There will be great food, live entertainment and auctions. Head to 123tix to book your seat.

There will also be a street party on Sunday 11th to close the festival including live entertainment and a range of market stalls and food vans. There will also be art projects and workshops the whole community is invited to contribute to including a ‘Paint by Numbers’, a collaborative sculpture and digital workshops.

Artists will be arriving the week before the festival to get started on their works, so if you’re passing through make sure you call through town and see them in action.
