Police are appealing for public assistance as investigations continue into a robbery in Cobar earlier this year.
About 12.50am on Friday 30 May 2025, a man approached an employee closing a service station on Marshall Street, Cobar, when he threatened the employee to re-open the store.
The man entered the store and stole cash, a drink, cigarettes and tobacco before leaving the store on foot.
The employee – a 24-year-old man – was not injured.
Officers attached to Central North Police District established a crime scene and commenced an investigation into the incident.

As inquiries continue, police would like to speak with a man depicted in the CCTV images and is described as being of Caucasian in appearance, 180cms tall, in his mid 20s, and of solid build.
The man was wearing a grey and black hooded jacket, beige long pants, white joggers, and a green backpack.
