A man faced court yesterday charged over alleged theft offences from across the state, including Coolah where he was detained.
Police said they attended an address in the town's Irwin Street at 4.30pm on Wednesday 8 October to help the Hume Police District with an investigation into alleged stolen property from multiple businesses in NSW's south and west.
A spokesperson said they arrested a 33-year-old man on site.
"While at the address, police identified alleged stolen property at the premises and subsequently executed a search warrant, locating a vehicle, a trailer, three dirt bikes and a large number of tools," the police spokesperson said.
The man was taken to Dubbo Police Station where he was charged with offences including property theft and shoplifting.
He was refused bail to appear before Local Bail Division Court 4 on Thursday 9 October.
