Back O Bourke Gallery owner and well-known artist Jenny Greentree has recently released six jigsaw puzzles of her artwork after being approached earlier this year by Australian puzzle maker Q Puzzles.
“I had been thinking of doing it for several years,” said Jenny “Then during COVID I thought more about it. I wanted to ensure the correct colour and quality and I didn’t want to go offshore so I was busy researching in Australia, when out of the blue I received a phone call from Q Puzzles.”
Manufactured on the Gold Coast, Jenny and husband Steve witnessed first-hand the production and collation of the puzzles and were very impressed with what they saw.
“I wanted the puzzles to be accurate and true to the colour of my work," she said. "My printer Mark who has been reproducing my prints for many years collaborated closely with the team at Q Puzzles and we are very excited at the outcome.".
Jenny was able to choose which prints she wished to make into puzzles and says she is blown away by how popular the 1000-piece puzzles are already.
Most noted for her pastel artworks, her detailed, fresh and crisp style along with her manipulation of pure colours, line and tone which make up the amazing pieces she creates.
Jenny portrays the soul and spirit of the Australian Outback, which resonates with those who view her work.
Her artworks are a very personal interpretation of the landscape, offering hope, joy and resilience, connecting the viewer to the essence of the Australian heart and character.
Jenny has painted and sold hundreds of originals as well as having over 100 of these originals available as reproduction – now adding Jigsaw puzzles to the mix.
Jennys work and jigsaws can be found online or at the ‘Back O Bourke’ Gallery in North Bourke NSW.
