Two men were arrested last Tuesday 30 December in Cobar after a police search found them armed with weapons and illicit drugs.

Police were called to Marshall Street Cobar last Tuesday after receiving reports of suspicious activity around a motor vehicle.

Police allegedly located three males, and conducted a search.

They located 2.4 grams of Methylamphetamine, 12 tables of a prescribed restricted substance, 12.7 grams of heroin.

Officers also searched a motor vehicle and located a double barrel shotgun, a knife, knuckle dusters, masks, rope and cable ties and further illicit drugs.

Two of the males were arrested and taken to Cobar Police Station.

The men were refused bail until they are to appear before the court Wednesday 21 January.
