Â
Australian Travel Industry Association CEO Dean Long said despite no-fly zones in place across the region, most airlines are still operating and able to reroute flights.
He warned that cancelling erases the right to a refund.
Â
"The aviation sector has and will continue to adapt," Mr Long said.
Â
"Asia is open and operating. We have flights coming out of the Middle East. There will be some delays and a bit more disruption than what we're used to but no one in the travel industry is going to put you in a place where it's unsafe.
Â
"If your trip is in the next couple of months, talk to your accredited travel agent or tour operator as there are plenty of alternates."

The United States and Israel began launching air strikes on Iran on 28 February.
Â
Iran has retaliated with missile and drone attacks on US allies throughout the region, which has caused damage to the world's busiest airport in Dubai.
Â
Australian government website Smart Traveller also advises not to cancel travel without advice from a travel agent or airline.
Â
Insurers also don't typically cover cancellations due to armed conflict.
