Police are calling for information on the location of a woman they believe may be in Coonamble.

Twenty-two-year-old Tanisha Dixon is wanted over an arrest warrant.

"We strongly encourage them to present to their nearest Police Station to have this matter promptly dealt with," a police spokesperson said.

"Tanisha is described as being Aboriginal in appearance, about 160 centimetres tall, about 65 kilograms with a medium build and black hair."

Police are urging anyone with information to ring Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000 or use the Crime Stoppers online reporting page.

They did not provide information on alleged offences.
