Warrumbungle National Park walking tracks and remote campsite will be closed on 5 and 6 March due to extreme fire danger from strong winds.
The winds could cause a small spark to quickly lead to a big bush fire.
The tracks will be closed from 4pm Tuesday 4 March to 9am Thursday 6 March.

According to the Bureau of Metrology, southeasterly gusts of up to 44 kilometres per hour are expected today and winds can reach up to 52 kilometres per hour tomorrow.
Daytime maximum temperatures are expected to reach the low to mid 30s with similar temperatures expected tomorrow with a low chance of rain.
On Friday, there is a slight chance of showers which increases to a medium chance over the weekend, lowering the fire risk.
The Rural Fire Service suggests that with an extreme fire danger warning in place, you should take action now to protect your life and property, check your bush fire plan, and prepare your property to the highest level.
White Gum Lookout walking track, Wambelong nature trail, and Gurianawa circuit will remain open, as well as, the Blackman, Walaay, and Wambelong campsites.
The extreme fire danger warning is separate to the Sandstone Cave Walking Track fire that broke out last Wednesday, 26 February and continued over the weekend.
