The Narromine Gorillas rugby union side is firing, claiming another win in Round 3 by downing Dubbo Rhinos at Apex Oval 51-14 on Saturday 3 May.

Second rower Ollie Kearny says it was a good win in the New Holland North division of Central West Rugby.

Reserve Grade won 19-12.

"There is a very good culture at the club and teams in both squads have a depth of quality, our players just want to be there," he said.

"We’re just clicking together as a collective."

Ollie says at a time when some small far west clubs are struggling everyone is pushing each other.

"I am from Coonabraban originally so it hurt to see the Kookas pulling out."

But he said the community is behind Narromine Rugby from sponsors to fans.

"No one is a star and we are all mates can’t wait to take on the Parkes Boars this weekend."
