Man airlifted from Weilmoringle after motorbike accident

A man injured in a motorcycle accident was airlifted from Weilmoringle yesterday.


A Westpac Rescue Helicopter was tasked by NSW Ambulance to a motorbike accident near Weilmoringle, north of Brewarrina, at around 1pm on Sunday 31 August.


A man in his 40s was treated at the scene by NSW Ambulance paramedics for chest injuries before being transported to Weilmoringle airstrip to meet the helicopter’s critical care medical team.


The man was further treated and stabilised before being airlifted to Tamworth Base Hospital.
