Police are calling for public help to locate a man wanted for an outstanding warrant and known to frequent Narromine.

Forty-seven-year-old Jason Lang is wanted on an outstanding warrant for alleged assault-related offences.

Police said officers attached to Orana Mid-Western Police District are conducting inquiries into his whereabouts.

Jason is described as being of Aboriginal/Torres Strait Islander appearance, of large build, about 185-190cm tall, with black hair and brown eyes.

He is known to frequent the Dubbo, Orange, Bathurst and Narromine areas.

Police urges anyone who sees him is urged not to approach but call Triple Zero (000) immediately.
